For the first time, we’ve introduced the sail effect design concept, refined through extensive data analysis to enhance aerodynamic efficiency. (Sail effect: At certain yaw angles, the interaction between the wheel and wind direction can generate forward thrust, reducing aerodynamic drag and lowering rider power output.) Crafted from high-strength 7075 aluminum, both the front and rear hubs are built for durability and performance. They are equipped with premium S&S Ceramic for smooth, long-lasting operation.
The lightweight freehub features an upgraded 50T tapered ratchet system with a 7.2° engagement angle, delivering rapid responsiveness. Unlike traditional flat ratchets, the specially angled tooth surfaces enable automatic self-alignment, which increases the engagement area. This design not only enhances stability and reliability but also reduces stress on the tooth surfaces, minimizing wear and extending the hub’s overall lifespan.
